Celebrate, Celebrate........

When you celebrate a birthday that ends in a "O" it stands to reason that you should celebrate for an entire week, or at least a few days. Today I wandered south. We had breakfast at Bliss Bakery where according to their motto "the bakers do it all night long" and this was our view:

I had wanted to pick up a bottle of Note Bene from Black Hills Winery but was told by the friendly staff that when 3,000 cases were released in April they sold out in 40 minutes. It would have been a nice gift to myself but instead I put my name on a list for the next release.

Lunch was at the Burrowing Owl Winery look at all those grapevines!!!!!!!

with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc.

  16. You are after my heart, yes a birthday should last at least a week. Ending in 0, maybe a month is more appropriate especially when you pass 50.
    Looks like a beautiful day!

  18. Happy B-Day Val - if this is celebrating a birthday, we should all have one every day. Well, maybe not - then it wouldn't feel so special. Gorgeous view - it would be hard to leave.
