The weekend was very busy for me with the retirement party for Dr. A and his wife Karin. They have had the allergy lab here since 1972 and have worked side by side all their married life. They started their career and their marriage in the Congo. My new computer is all set up and looking shiny. Therefore today is just a "smile" from Kea off the coast of mainland Greece.

ReplyDeleteHi Valli, I'm new at blogging but I have seen you commenting everyday at Peter's blog and Laurie's. I just discovered your blog which looks fantastic. Shall read more tomorrow because it's nearly midnight now that I'm writing in Greece. Had the same computer problems but now I've upgraded mine some days ago and it's much easier. The donkey is so sweet, and they tend to be extinct in Greece whereas some clever Swiss have bought many donkeys from Greece and sell their milk 100 euros a kilo!!!!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy but wonderful weekend catching up with friends. The Dr & his wife sounds like they've had a very long adventure together and a well deserved retirement. Last weekend was also busy for me - so many social events now that the year coming to an end and Christmas is coming up.
