I love all the flavours you have described in this recipe, but have never heard of it. In the Balkans, I discovered the pljeskavica... probably spelled wrong, but I am close. It is a hamburger patty with the spices similar to civapi (a short sausage like grilled traditional meat) that is absolutely delicious and still so simple to make. It is also wrapped in a traditional bread. That's what I love about travel. Sumac is also one of my favourite flavours. I love the sour citrus flavour of it.<br />Great post.
